Okay guys, I have a two year old as of February. He hardly talks. He says a few words, like: mama, dad, ruck(truck), wow, yeah, woah, duck. He understands everything you tell him or ask him. I will ask him to say * Insert word* and he will just look at me and smile. Almost like he’s shy to try. My husband isn’t too concerned with it saying that he and his dad didnt talk until after they were 2-3 yrs old.
Any advice?

Every child is different. But maybe talk to your pediatrician. Let them know you’re interested in early intervention & see if they can refer you to a speech therapist.
