Small fan, those wards are SOOO hot. Snacks also, not just junk food! I got given a meal but was only 4 hours PP, with all the checks, feeling whacked out and people visiting etc I didn’t get to eat it. Water bottle, with a straw!

Bring your own pillow & buy a waterproof pillow case for it! The hospital pillows are mostly flat & aren’t the best!

Definitely bring your favourite snacks.

I brought Lucozade sport to replace electrolytes in the hot weather.

Vaseline cuz your lips may become so dry.

Mini speaker to play you favourite music if you want to

-Extra long phone charger (the plugs are always too far away).
-Snacks you can open and eat with one hand when your husband isn't there (you will soon have a baby in the other and there is nothing more annoying than being starving and not able to get into the food right infront of you!)
-A large water bottle again that you can use with one hand, obviously water is provided but I always drink a lot and staff are busy.
-As others have said a decent pillow and a fan.
-High fibre snacks because you want to nourish your body and make that first poo as easy as possible.
-Crocs or slippers.
