I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.
I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look “small” at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

I'm 38weeks. I also carry small-ish. My OB doesn't do growth scans at all, she says they're mostly incorrect and worry the parents too much about having a too small or too big baby.
This time, she is comparing this pregnancy to my first. I've gained the same amount of weight. First baby born at 40 weeks exactly, 6lbs 15oz. This time it's a boy, my belly is pretty much identical. So we're expecting him to be around the same weight. Also, both me and my husband are pretty avg sized people, I wouldn't be expecting a big baby anyway.
