Dark thoughts

I have agreed with my OB to schedule a c section for latest 40+3. If baby decides to come earlier I will try vaginal birth.

I am a bit scared an I leaving it too late with 40+3? Trying to stay away from bad thoughts but just read someone’s baby ate their meconium at40+2 etc. please help me with good stories.

Hello - fellow IVF Mother here. I can totally understand how you feel - when the finish line is approaching for us that had to fight so hard it becomes real scary. I asked to be induced at the exactly 40 weeks for that reason. That way I was in the hospital, monitored, and whatever happened they could act super fast. I do not regret it

Just to perhaps give you some positive energy that things are more than likely fine even long after 40+3, I gave birth to my IVF baby vaginally and without induction at 41+6 and everything was totally fine, my placenta was a beauty. Good luck, trust your instincts, and just do what you feel you've gotta do to get your baby here safely.

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you
