I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

I had emergency c section and I hope to to go throght that again it was worst experience ever, my friends who had planned c section were happy with the experience…I am pregnant now and want to do natural birth🙂

I'm not in the group, but I had baby number 2 in June via elective C-section. My first was a vaginal birth. I liked the calmness of my elective, but my natural birth I feel was massively impacted on because it was the first covid lockdown so everyone was a bit panicked and flustered. I do feel if it wasn't in lockdown it could have been a bit of a different experience. I have friends who have had amazing vaginal births, mine just didn't go as planned. Honestly, I think for your first it is always worth trying for a natural birth if possible

I’ve had two planned sections and having my third in July. Quick recoveries and both great experiences. I’ve never wanted a vaginal delivery so have never mourned not having that experience. You have to weight up if that is something you want to experience and will you be disappointed if you don’t experience it. Also how many children do you want as c sections can limit you.
