how the HELL are we cutting their hair?

My son begged for it all cut off for summer lol n screamed the whole time 😭 I just let it happen, but he might be better with another person. My son will let my friends wash n brush his hair without fighting 😂

We showed him the clippers dont hurt first by putting it on my arm running, then his arm. He was nervous at first but calmed down when he realized it doesn't hurt

I usually put on a movie and offer fruit snacks for after, since I never really offer them. So it's a special treat. I also ask my (now) 4 year old if he wants me to do a fast haircut (all one size for the sides and a higher size for the top), or if he wants a cool haircut like Dada (a fade). He's been choosing the fade, even though it takes longer. Sometimes my husband has to hold his head so he doesn't wiggle, but at least he doesn't cry haha

I cut my boy’s hair while he is sleeping. He want let me near him while he is awake and he has figured out how to bob and weave the clippers and grabs my arms and tells me “no mommy” had to get smart and just catch him while sleeping lol I use cutting shears so I don’t make too much noise
