Anyone feeling a little lost with weaning, should I be offering my 7.5 month old 3 meals a day? I don’t know by what age how much they should be eating?😩
I think half my problem as well it maybe I don’t eat the most nutritious breakfast and lunch 😂 I never cooked lunches from scratch but I also have a Velcro baby so cooking in itself is a mission

My 7 month old is not interested in food so im not to worried, she hits herself in the face with her spoon and manages, sometimes to get some mashed banana in her mouth 😂, she also likes gnawing on cucumber but thats about it. She is certainly not going to do anything with three meals a day but feed it to the dog 😆

I am offering 3 meals a day but my LO doesn’t necessarily eat much at all, she is the same age as yours. I’ve followed lots of Instagram accounts and done some batch cooking which has made it A LOT easier to have stuff ready in the fridge and freezer and I’m keeping it really simple at the moment because a lot of it goes in the bin 🤣 I think if they eat what you give them then great, but even if they have a few spoonfuls that is also great. I bought the how to wean your baby book and it’s been really helpful for stuff like that, I’ll send you a couple of pics below which might be helpful! ❤️

My daughter is 7 months and we do 1-2 “meals’ per day. Whatever fits best with our schedule.
She’s still not eating much so they’re defo not full meals, more like a table spoon of something. Could be a single fruit or veg, or could be a pasta with salmon for instance. Depends.
She hates anything puréed or to be fed with a spoon and a lot ends up on the floor.

Just to note do you know any adults who don't eat meals and just drink milk? Cos babies will get to it when they get to it, try not to worry

See if they have a weaning class in your area. I'm going to one on Thurs near me x

My daughters EBF shes only on 1 meal a day if that most days i don’t bother, the meals i do give her i might be lucky enough to get 4 spoonfuls into her shes not bothered about food
Its all about giving them the opportunity to explore with different tastes and texture rather than filling them up
Imagine you only had milk for 7 months then someone starts shoving weird foods into your mouth its all so new to them 😂 please try not to worry
