I ended up messing up the first batch of Swiss meringue which takes roughly 30-45 minutes to make and as soon as I went to start them first batch of cookies my power went out lol

Iv been there countless times! During summer especially swiss meringue is a nightmare to work with, it once took me like 6 hours just to get a couple batches to the right consistency to pipe because the heat was turning it into soup. These cupcakes look so cute tho! How do you make your gold colour? 😭
