about universal credit and disability living allowance DLA

hi ladies so i have been claiming dla for my daughter who has been diagnosed with autism for a little over a year i was not aware that i had to report a change in my universal credit for that and i had no idea i was even entitled to a cares allowance either i have only just reported that for background information i am a single mum with with 3 kids including my child with a disability universal credit is giving me just under £200 a month as i am not working at all and they have capped me. and my child has been getting £110 a week for the last year or so do i now have to pay money back are the going to stop my claim i am so confused and just waiting around for answers

Ring universal credit and ask

We told universal credit as you are eligible for the carers element if your child gets dla. You can claim carers however the amount comes off your universal credit.
That said we were not getting anything else that would effect the benefits cap.
