6 months postpartum my OB has dismissed my concerns about the right above my C-section area being numb. It is so uncomfortable to lay on my stomach now, and certain moves or touches feels like the worst nerve pain in life. Majority of my friends had a vaginal birth so relating to anyone isn't real, and it appears to have mixed feedback on Google 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

My cousin still has numbness and that 5 years on.
I still have a lot of numbness and discomfort in it over a year after, I work as a nurse and if I over do it, I know about it

I’m 5 month pp and have the same numbness. And everyone I know that’s had c-sections also experience the same thing. Unfortunately I think it’s “normal”. Also if I’m walking too much, the numb area feels like it’s on fire for a few minutes at a time

I had knee surgeries over 15 years ago. The front of my knees are still numb. I’m sorry you felt dismissed, but the long term numbing is unfortunately part of it 😢 I’m 15 months post op from my c section and a good portion of my lower belly is numb.
