What's with the snug fit onesies?!

My baby is 5 months and in the 85% for growth wearing 12 month clothing. All of a sudden Carter's and Burt's bees onesie pajamas only come in 'snug fit' which won't work for him. Any affordable brand recommendations with regular fit pajamas?

I know I hate it.
My son has thick arms and legs and I hate snug-fit. If I get him pjs that are like 4 sizes too big, where it fits his body, then we have a problem of the arms and legs being too long.
So frustrating.

Size up and shop by weight. I hate theres not many loose fit options like before

It’s a safety reason & federal regulation (CPSC). Reduce fire risk. No air between skin and cloth means harder to catch fire. So either fit snug or flame resistant material

Snug fit is for fire safety. I highly recommend any that are made of bamboo - stretchy but snug. They are durable, soft, snug as they are supposed to be, and many of them feature fold-over sleeves and legs for room to grow. As for affordability, I always buy the clearance designs - I dont care if they are wearing Christmas in August lol
