Health visitor check up

My lg will be 9 months old on 2nd April. We haven’t had a health visitor since she was 2.5 months old and I remember she said the next one would be at 9 months. Has anyone got an appointment booked?
I think it might be different in Wales or elsewhere... I’m in the North of England.

That's very weird. We've had quite a few check ups! 2, 3 and 4 weeks. 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 months. We're based in Scotland. No medical issues or anything prompting often visits

After the 6/8 weeks appointment we didn't had any other with HV. Just getting lg weighed at the drop in clinic once a month up to 6 months and then every 2 month.
We were told next appointment would be at 1 year? Didn't know about a 9/10 months one. We are in London.

The next one for us in England is a 9-12 months so can happen any time in that time frame. Best to look at the NHS website for detailed info for your area. Eg https://www.nhs.uk/baby/babys-development/height-weight-and-reviews/baby-reviews/

Boy night time diapers

Hey boy mommas! I have a 5 month old tomorrow and for the past couple nights, he’s started peeing through his diapers at night and soaking his clothes. Any suggestions on the best night time diapers for baby boys who pee a lot?

Bassinet to Crib

My LO is 10 weeks and growing fast! She has already doubled her birth weight and is “tall” I know I’ll have to transition her to a crib. She currently sleep beside our bed in her bassinet. Curious - when and how did that happen for your LO? Did you move crib into your room? Sleep in their room to ease with the change?

Next to me crib

Is my baby growing out of her next to me? She’s 4.5 months old and I’m not ready to put her in her own room yet (I know should wait until 6 months anyway) but is she still okay in this crib?

Bed sharing mamas - set up??

So I am bed sharing with my baby. It’s the only way we get sleep. She is now practicing standing and is super mobile. I feel on edge that she will fell of the bed.

How do you guys do it? Push the bed against a wall? Have you got some covers on the side . Share all your tips x

How can I get enough sleep 😴

My 11 month old has never been a great sleeper. He went to bed at 8:00pm last night. Me and my partner tidied up and went to sleep at 9ish. Baby still wakes 3 times a night and can take a while to resettle. My partner wakes up at 5 for work and he is also very tired.

He often wakes up close to my alarm too (when working). My alarm was set for 6 and baby woke up at 4:30. He only went back to sleep in his cot at 5:30. Meaning there is no time for me to go back to sleep and my day has started at 4:30.

Even when going to bed at 9, I still cannot catch enough sleep to get me through the day. I am 14 weeks pregnant and the tiredness is hitting me hard.

Don't understand the white soft play trend

Is anyone else confused why there are so many white/cream soft plays popping up everywhere. Visually they are so dull and not stimulating for a child. I would never pay the ridiculous prices they ask (more than normal soft play)
