My 14mo old son has always been a sensitive baby. He was colic and had acid reflux and generally is very sensitive and reactive to things and gets upset/frustrated quickly. There have been periods of time (2 weeks here and there) where everything is going right and he’s a completely content happy boy. However, if one thing is even slightly off (sleep, teething, sickness, etc.) he’s a wreck. Is this normal? Has anyone gone through this and had a happy kid as they got older?

My almost 4 year old was like that. Not the reflux part but had some sensitive stomach. We're going to be getting him tested for autism but more or less because of other things he does currently. But he's always been our difficult child. If you don't feed him right when he says he's hungry he might cry at you... But most days he's happy. Please don't take my comment as he could be autistic because that's not what I'm saying.
