My daughter has been trying to pull herself up unassisted. Rarely is able to actually stand up without pulling on something. The PT she saw last week says to get her to cruising across furniture multiple times a day for hip strengthening and she’d contact me next month for an update. So, she has been doing that and although she tries to turn to face me/take steps towards me, she still unsteady. How are your little ones who can’t walk yet?

Mine is 16 months and still can't stand without pilling himself up on something. He can take a few steps as if about a week ago but he was furniture crusing for probably a month before he wanted to take really steps.
Do you have a push walker toy for your baby

my daughter is the same but she can pull herself up without holding anything and she can walk along things like furniture or in her play pen or when we walk with her she will hold our finger. a couple days ago she finally took her first steps by herself and i noticed she doesn’t like to be encouraged like us saying “come on” or “you can do it” or “walk to me” with hands wide out cause then she immediately goes straight to crawling so when she did take her first big steps by herself without falling we just sat at watched her and acted excited after so she knows that’s what we want her to do. she’s hasn’t done it since but we let her spend a couple hours in the living room for her to roam and play with some of her toys in hope that she will just get up and do it again. but with her she doesn’t like having someone in front of her holding their hands out to encourage her to walk so i’m just hoping she gets it on her own before we have to start PT with her and early intervention
