If your baby is saying words, what were they doing prior to it?

Not words like muma or dada, as my baby is babbling 24/7, I was just wondering if this is a sign she might start saying words

my LO was babbling a lot (still is) and randomly just started throwing a few words in amongst it. I was getting worried as I felt he wasnt saying any solid words and now suddenly I can almost understand him!! he literally says "help, its/im stuck" somehow?????? its so crazy at this stage

Ours babbling then noises started to become sounds and then actual words/phrases

We had lots of babbling before she started saying actual words but now she sounds them out and says them - bird, ball, cat etc and animal noises

Mine copies the sounds of words and speaks like he’s speaking to u but in pure gibberish. Then I repeat what I think that word sounds like eg are you saying bubbles and he’ll copy and start saying bubbles (repeatedly all day long) 😂

CPS?

Something’s wrong with me. My LG was wailing & crying & screaming & all I did was watch. Didn’t feel like picking her up to comfort her & still don’t.. should I just turn myself in?

Imposter Syndrome

Does anyone else feel like you have imposter syndrome being a mom?

I had my first a couple weeks before I turned 38 and I had already accepted I wouldn't have kids (not by choice).

I remember going to my appointments feeling like I wasn't as pregnant or really pregnant like the other patients in the lobby were. I often catch myself feeling like this isn't my life and I'm playing house my child. I love him so much, but I feel like this just isn't real. He's 15 months so I've had time to come to terms.

Has anyone else felt something like this? How did you get over it?

When to stop C curl and restricted blankets?

May be too soon but just out of interest. When is it safe to no longer sleep in C curl around baby/child? My girl is 10 months but very long and I can no longer do C curl well 😅. Plus her whole bottom half is past my waist now which is where I keep the blanket too.

Nap times

My baby girl is currently 14 weeks old and we have been struggling with naps for a while now. We manage to get her down a few times a day however she does not sleep longer than 30 min.. I know this is the length of a sleep cycle so it is normal but she l never seems to be fully rested especially in the afternoon. She often wakes up looking tired but refuses to go back to sleep, or if I hold her and rock her to sleep there is no way of putting her down again. The evenings are a battle because of it as she gets over tired. Any tips or advise on how to lengthen her naps?
