Milestones

What are you babies doing? My LO isn’t attempting to crawl, sit himself up or pull himself up!

My baby can sit unassisted but can't get herself into the sitting position by herself if that's what you mean. My baby does a crab shuffling to move herself around on the floor and has for months but isn't on all 4s to crawl or anything. If she's sitting in front of me and wants up she can use my shirt to pull herself up but doesn't do this with furniture

My boy is the same, he's not interested on sitting although he can. He's not crawling yet either. He's got a lot of strength in his legs so I'm not overly worried atm.

She has just yesterday been able to sit by herself for a decent bit of time but has to be placed in that position. She is desperate to stand all the time but will only do it pulling up from our hands. She moves around on the mat but its either backwards (still not sure how she does this) or by like squirming forward to grab stuff.

Same here, just pivoting a lot, no crawling, no sitting 🤣
Every baby is different! One day no one will be able to say who did all these things first. I'm not overthinking it at all.
From what I see baby girls are more advanced than baby boys 🤭

CPS?

Something’s wrong with me. My LG was wailing & crying & screaming & all I did was watch. Didn’t feel like picking her up to comfort her & still don’t.. should I just turn myself in?

Hi. Silly question but how does people navigate Brest feeding when baby gets their teeth? I never made it this far while b feeding my other two so I’m not sure what the next stages will look like.

Imposter Syndrome

Does anyone else feel like you have imposter syndrome being a mom?

I had my first a couple weeks before I turned 38 and I had already accepted I wouldn't have kids (not by choice).

I remember going to my appointments feeling like I wasn't as pregnant or really pregnant like the other patients in the lobby were. I often catch myself feeling like this isn't my life and I'm playing house my child. I love him so much, but I feel like this just isn't real. He's 15 months so I've had time to come to terms.

Has anyone else felt something like this? How did you get over it?

When to stop C curl and restricted blankets?

May be too soon but just out of interest. When is it safe to no longer sleep in C curl around baby/child? My girl is 10 months but very long and I can no longer do C curl well 😅. Plus her whole bottom half is past my waist now which is where I keep the blanket too.

Nap times

My baby girl is currently 14 weeks old and we have been struggling with naps for a while now. We manage to get her down a few times a day however she does not sleep longer than 30 min.. I know this is the length of a sleep cycle so it is normal but she l never seems to be fully rested especially in the afternoon. She often wakes up looking tired but refuses to go back to sleep, or if I hold her and rock her to sleep there is no way of putting her down again. The evenings are a battle because of it as she gets over tired. Any tips or advise on how to lengthen her naps?
