Mother-in-law's

So I have this mother in law that kicked me and my children out when they were 1 years old and the other a few months old and when we went back for our kids stuff she had gotten rid of it all....now she is having health problems and apologized through a voicemail and I've been letting my fiance see her just in case she doesn't get better and now she's coming home for Easter and we are doing Easter with her I don't trust her as far as I can throw her but how do I act around her my face would literally give me away lol so how do I be nice in a way that tells her I've got boundaries with myself and my children now I don't trust her but am tolerating her just for my fiance????........Does any of this make sense???

protect your peace at all costs . You can deal with her from a distance and keep your boundaries intact. I would just be nice and keep her at a distance

*Personally* she would not be welcome in my home. She didn’t just put you out, she put your BABIES OUT. Got rid of their stuff like it was nothing. HELL NO.

You have nothing to hide, you have every right to feel how you feel and she SHOULD feel it. Make her see you as someone strong that doesn’t take that bullshit. If she’s truly “sorry”- she can earn those privileges back with time and hard work.
