Tips for bronchiolitis

She’s 4 months old, we went to a&e this morning and ended up in the children’s part of the hospital. They’ve said there’s not much they can do as her oxygen levels are good but to come back if need. Didn’t really give me any advice otherwise.

She’s wheezing and crackling and so upset which makes things worse and I’m wondering if there’s anything I can do at home to help her.

Keep her upright as much as possible Hold her against your chest or slightly elevated (especially during feeds and sleep-on-you time). It can ease the wheezing.
Use saline drops + suction A few drops in each nostril, then gently suction (bulb syringe or NoseFrida). This can help clear mucus causing the crackling.
Humid air helps
Cool mist humidifier in the room
Or sit with her in a steamy bathroom (run hot shower for 10–15 min)
