Head bump

My 10 week old had a head bump yesterday 2pm we went hospital cos she was sick twice at 6pm. They said she seems completely fine and not concerned. When we got home she went straight to sleep and slept continuously from 10pm-8am… 10 hours with no wakes she has never done that we usually wake 3/4 times a night. I woke her up at 8am just to see how she reacted to lights n stuff and to try feed her but she’s not interested in feeding. (EBF)
Is this usual? I’m a bit concerned? But drs said she was fine so idk

Left over nappies

What do people do with leftover nappies when their babies go up a size, I have lots of size 1,2 and 3 from when my baby sizes up and im not sure what to do with them , binning seems wrong , charity and food and living banks only take them when it’s a sealed brand new pack , what do you do with your leftovers

Hands in mouth

How often are your baby's hands in their mouth?

I know it's perfectly normal development but even when my 12 week old is asleep all I can hear is them having a good munch on their 'apparently' tasty hands. 😂

Don't get me started on the cheese smelling lint collectors no matter how many times I clean them throughout the day. 😂

Lump in breast when breastfeeding

I have found a lump in my breast that is sore to touch and hard. It feels kind of moveable. Has anyone had this while breastfeeding? It’s not mastitis as I’ve had that a few times

Confession one time I met a cool mom on here

We hung out in person like 5 times and it seemed pretty good. Our kids got along. I was struggling with post partum depression and I missed a few of her texts and didn’t see and I convinced myself she ghosted me and I got super mad and I suppose she thought I did the same to her and we didn’t speak for like 3 months. Then we tried hanging out again and again convinced myself she didn’t like me and that there was weird vibes and we never spoke again. After my post partum went away I realize she never ghosted me and there wasn’t really anything weird. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️friendship lost.

Napping in seperate room

My baby is 15 weeks old and goes to bed at 7.00pm, he wakes for a feed at 5.00am and then goes back down until 8.00am. We used to keep him downstairs in a moses basket in the evenings until we both went up to bed and would transfer him to his next to me cot. However, he now struggles to sleep in the living room even with dim lighting and talking quietly etc, so we have started putting him down in his next to me cot upstairs in our bedroom at 7.00pm and he is much more settled.

I know that NHS guidance is for baby to sleep in the same room as you anytime of the day or night until 6 months old, however 7.00pm is too early for us to go up to bed and we often haven’t had chance to eat or do chores by that time.

How are other parents managing to eat dinner, do chores and spend any time together as adults?

EBF baby not putting weight on!!

My baby is 8 weeks, and I've been told my baby is dropping percentiles so we're going for regular weigh ins again and it's making me feel anxious. I feed on demand, let her comfort feed, offer both sides and try not to let it go more than 4 hours without a feed. I don't know what else I can do. The regular weigh ins make me feel like I'm being a terrible mum. Sometimes when she's asleep I'm forcing her to get up which really agitates her too.

Can anyone offer me any advice?
