For context - I’m a Sahm and currently pregnant with our 2nd (34 weeks rn) and my toddler has been sick so often 😭
Poor baby has had three ear infections, Covid, Roseola, Flu, Rhinovirus (Cold), Hand Foot & Mouth all within a 14 month period. My toddler doesn’t go to daycare, however we do go to play dates and out often. She takes BioGaia (probiotic) and Mary Ruth’s Multivitamin daily. We eat healthy as family and stay hydrated & don’t really get sick often as parents. But I feel so anxious and guilty for often she has gotten sick. Anyone else struggling with this??

Honestly I went through the same thing and don’t feel bad about it! My son got rhinovirus, Covid and some meta virus back to back! The hospital said it’s totally normal for children who stay at home to get under 11 viruses a year. And those who go to daycare get over 20 viruses. You’re doing good don’t worry!

My daughter got sick only when Inwas a SAHM. I went back to work and she’s with a nanny they go out all the time she is in music classes and has play dates. She’ll have a little stuffy nose and be fine after a couple of days. I think her immune system just needed to be tested and now she’s strong! At least that’s what I tell myself 😊

I’m a mom but I’ve also worked with kids and babies my entire life! PLEASE DO NOT FREAK OUT! I tell parents expect for any normal kid flr their baby to get sick probably at least 6 times a year. And with it to take maybe 6 weeks of getting better with a cough and runny nose and stuff, you get maybe 2 weeks with nothing and then another round of something. It’s TOTALLY normal! It sucks but it’s not weird at all.
