Mums I’m loosing my mind!!! My daughter is 3 months old in a few days and we’ve had a lot of ups and downs with her feeding. She is formula fed only. She was having the symptoms minus rash for CMPA / Reflux and the DR is trialing her on Aptamil Pepti she’s been on this now for 2 weeks. We were doing really well on it. She wasn’t fussing at the bottle anymore and her stomach wasn’t making noises, no more congestion etc etc.
But the past few days it’s started again, she’s fussing at it instantly, she wants it but she doesn’t, I can hear her taking air in because she’s crying at it, I can hear her stomach again. She is sounding wheezy again. I’ve just spent a good 45 minutes giving her her bedtime bottle and it was the worst it’s been! Why?!?! Wanting the bottle, but crying. Sometimes it’s like she can’t take a breath or she doesn’t know how to breathe properly while drinking it. She has the slow flow teats as the formula is watery consistency so I felt like the number 2 teats were choking her.
I’m at my wits end with it I am getting so frustrated with it because I don’t know why!!!!!!
Please can someone guide me in the right direction as to what is going on because I I just want to cry!!!!!

What bottles are you using?
We ended up doing a combo of sensitive formula, reflux meds and a different bottle (the theory with the one we had been using was that it was making a vacuum and she was having to work too hard to drink out of it).
I'd also try going up to the next flow. It takes a little bit for them to get used to it and they splutter a bit at first.
(We ended up seeing a slp for our feeding issues for our now 15 month old and she was the most helpful person if you continue to struggle I'd ask for a referral)
And you'll get through this. Both my babies struggled with breast and bottle and weight gain and they are 3.5 and 15 months now and amazing and wonderful and you wouldn't know they had a hard time figuring out eating when they were really little.

both our kids were fully Enfamil fed too but never had any problem
maybe try enfamil for spit up or the purple bottles for easy digestion?
