Transitioning

For me in my pregnancy I’m just now at 14 weeks transitioning into the second trimester. I heard people say that the second trimester is more like the honeymoon phase. You feel a lot better. I feel terrible going into the second trimester. I am so tired. I have slept so much this week. The nausea has came back, but the fatigue and the brain fog are just terrible. Has anyone else had this experience just feeling not great going into the second trimester

I feel like towards the end of my second trimester/beginning of third trimester was my favourite. My first trimester symptoms went in to my second trimester and only started to feel better towards the end. The nausea stopped, my hormones were starting the regulate and I wasn’t as tired. I was able to take showers without feeling completely exhausted. Unfortunately pregnancy brain is just contacts I think and gets even worse once the baby is here. Mine is 5 months and I still have baby brain 🤣

14 weeks is the start of the second trimester. 14 weeks can be the roughest week of them all. I felt the same exact way with both my babies

Did you enjoy labor & delivery?

I’m 8 weeks pp now and I often lay here thinking about the day I gave birth to my baby and I miss it so much. I loved the whole experience. The excitement of being induced and knowing I was getting my baby soon. Having my waters broken and hearing he has lots of hair & then the actual pushing and getting him out. I’ll never be able to explain the feeling of seeing him for the first time an all the love I felt. And that first cry 😢

I wish I could relive it all again. I mourn it so much. When I’m old and lonely I’ll come back there and relive it In my head over and over 🤍

Help! Braxton Hicks or Early Labour?

I am 37 weeks + 6 and haven’t slept from a constant pulling sensation in my stomach.. it doesn’t hurt but there’s a strong sensation in my uterus and every time it happens, my baby wiggles or moves and she feels really really low.. each tightening lasts about 5-10 seconds only and they vary 2 mins - 30 mins apart. I’m so uncomfortable as it’s been constant for over 14 hours, I can’t sleep because everytime I rest, it pulls and tightens…. Will I be meeting my baby soon or is this likely Braxton hicks??? It hasn’t got worse, it’s just maintained a steady feeling. Xx

We're all in it together!

36+4 with baby boy number 2, feeling so fed up and poorly.. so heavy and fatigued. I'm thankful for this community knowing I'm not alone in this final (painfully long) stretch before baby arrives! 😴😴

Question

Trying to figure out if I’m due November or December 😂

My second pregnancy and found out I’m 5 weeks 4 days today! Big shock to the system as we have a 20 month old but so grateful at the same time! Any mums around the same gestation as me and your due dates? I know it’ll change etc by 12 week scan but curious! I conceived on the 10th march 😆
