Self settling

I have asked re dummies just because I feel like the sucking motion is very similar to feeding to sleep! 🫶🏼

My boys used to settle with a dummy but weaned themselves off and now suck their thumbs instead

Anyone with a baby self settling to sleep from the get go I’d love to know how you managed this! 🩷

Bit of both, sometimes dummy sometimes not, we didnt really do any thing though, shes always been like that

In car/pram will self settle not overnight and won't take a dummy or bottle

My baby has never had a dummy, we did try but she wouldn’t take to it so she sucks her fingers. She is my second so has learned to self settle from a young age because I was pre occupied with my son, by the time I got to her she was always sleeping x

I wish my LO would. She doesn't take a dummy at all and needs so much help falling asleep. Currently she's fighting every nap and bedtime
