i circumcised both my boys. I don’t feel like it’s “mutation” or all that other stuff. it’s maybe an inch of skin. I honestly had no opinion on it and my husband chose to do it because he is uncircumcised and hates it. didn’t want the boys to not feel confident about their bodies growing up.

I chose not to, simply because I didn’t feel comfortable. As for the rates, insurance covers it.

I didn’t have a boy, but it was $400 at my OB clinic in FL.

My fiance and I chose not to because he's child in his previous marriage had a bad circumcision and it causes pain to the young adult when he is intimate with a partner or when he, you know with himself. So we did have it done.

I havent. It is there for a reason (hygiene), unless medically it needs removing then I wont remove any parts from my son

I had my son's done. My husband wanted it done and he has the part not me. But our insurance covered it so dont know the cost

This is mainly an American thing, in the UK it isn't done routinely unless requested due to religious reasons and even then not always done at birth or to a newborn. As a mother of a little boy I can firmly say it has never caused him any issues with hygiene, he is not prone to infections and it does not require any special care as a child. We teach him how to wash ALL his body thoroughly and as long as he does that I don't see why it would be removed. He was born with it, it serves a purpose.

Cost can vary depending on where you go. We didn't circumcise, because there's no reason to cut off healthy parts of his anatomy.

I had it done on my 1st son thinking research on the associated benefits backed it up. But years later with my 2nd son, I opted against it. I now consider it more a cosmetic procedure and am sorry I chose that for my first.

I have no issue with circumcision for religious reasons. However it should be done when the child can consent. For Jewish boys, perhaps as part of their training and ritual before bat mitzvah.

We didn't, not normal in the UK and my husband was the first to say no before me because he absolutely HATES the idea
