How are you feeling? Does labour feel far away?
I’m 40 weeks today! It still doesn’t feel real for me yet, I’m all prepared in the house and ready for baby girl, so excited for labour to start but I still feel like I’m waiting for some big reality check 😂
I feel like I’m going to go way over ( I know it’s fine but I’m so ready for her to come now) i think because I feel so fine in my body like I have no signs of labour I still feel really active and loving the sun im going to a plant nursery then coming home to do some gardening today 😂
Anyone else feel like labour is far away?
Does it just randomly change that fast and you go into labour?

I am 40 weeks today too. This is my second baby, first baby was born via c-section whereas this time I want a natural labour. So really not sure what to expect. I’ve been having braxton and hicks constantly (didn’t have with baby number 1) for about 2 weeks and thought labours been on its way a few times. Though still here and no real signs it will be anytime soon.
I’ve just accepted now baby will come when it’s ready and have stopped getting my hopes up everyday. 😂 I also feel like it hasn’t hit me that I’ll have a new born home with me sometime in the next 10 days. Excited!

I'm due on Friday but I'm feeling the same, very ready for baby girl to arrive now! I've nested about as hard as I can nest and now I just have to wait 😂
Can't say I have as much energy as you though I'm shattered, not sleeping well and I'm so so uncomfortable! With that said I'm still managing to get out every day/pottering around etc just with some degree of difficulty 😂
I still almost feel like it's never going to happen and setting myself up to go over so understand exactly how you feel!
We've got this though our girls will be ready when they're ready, enjoy the sunshine 🌞♥️

It can literally just come out of the blue, my last Labour did.
I didn’t have any stronger urges for “nesting”, no sudden bursts of energy, no aches or pains. It was just like any other day, I got up and ready to go for lunch with my partner, we got halfway there and had to turn back around. I had no warning signs at all and trust me I was searching for them.
My first sign was the contractions and they were strong from the off, bloody show came about 10hrs in, my waters never naturally broke.
Hope you’re not holding out too much longer 🤞 x

I’m 40+4 today xxx lost my bloody show and getting some pains that’s about it I’m not rushing him x

40+6 days I had a sweep yesterday and labour feels like it’s never gone come 🙈😂

i’m 40+1 today and when i tell u ive tried everything. im having a sweep tomorow so lets hope x

I was due on Sunday. I get more discomfort in the evening or after a walk but nothing that stops me in my tracks. I think I lost my mucus plug when I went for a wee in the night but the lights weren't on and I had no plan to blind myself.
I have the midwife in 30 minutes so we will see what she says

40+2 today. Absolutely no signs of labour at all. I know the due date is only an estimate, I’m just hoping I don’t have to be induced which is already being mentioned to me. Enjoy the sunshine and when labour does come around for you, I hope it all goes well 💕

40+5 and feeling so fed up of being pregnant but yet no signs of labour. Just uncomfortable from the pressure etc.
I did have a sweep about an hour ago and hoping that hurried him along!
