I’m 40+3 and hoping she comes this weekend! I have no plans on doing an induction unless it’s medically necessary but I’m so antsy haha

39+1 with my second had my first at 38+5. Got a membrane sweep yesterday hoping to help kickstart things. Baby boy seems snug still. Lost my mucus plug about a week ago. He is head down according to my ob. Just waiting on him🙂 if I hit my due date I will be scheduling an induction

Same here, I’m 39+6 and mystified about when my baby girl will decide to join us! Also as a FTM it is sometimes *so hard* to decipher between labor prep, early labor, etc. 😅

39 today first pregnancy. Nothing but crickets over here. No dilation. No contractions. Still got my mucus plug. Baby must be hanging on tight.

I had my baby at 40+4 (on Easter day). Maybe find something to do, a project to keep your mind off of the impending birth. 38 weeks is early term, you want that baby to cook for another 2 weeks.

I have been on maternity leave since 37 weeks. And ended up deep cleaning everything around the house, including the car, to keep myself busy, cause I was also getting very antsy, thinking he would come early, because my first baby came right on her due date. But he decided to cook for a few more days.

First Trimester trenches

I am currently 6 weeks and 3 days. Has anyone hit the trenches yet? I literally hit 6 weeks and have been in bed ever since. Trying to understand how I am meant to work and function for the next few weeks/months 😂

NIPT test waiting time

Hey everyone! I’m a FTM mom due in October, we’re super excited to begin this new chapter. Im wondering if anyone did the NIPT test through Natera? I gave my blood sample at the lab last Wednesday and haven’t heard anything. We had our NT ultrasound a few days ago and everything looks good but we are still anxious to see the test results. If you’ve done this test how long did it take to get your results? I’ve heard California can take longer than other states— I am based in San Francisco

Just one of those days 🥲

Having one of those days where baby girl does not want to be put down at all, she’s 5 weeks old today and I know she needs me but at what point am I going to be able to take a sip of my coffee or have a shower😩 it probably sounds very selfish but as my partner is at work, and we have recently moved away from my family it has become a lot. Looks like I’m using the carrier for the rest of the day until the hubby gets home 🤞🏻

Hospital stay!

I’m currently in labor and delivery due to high blood pressure at 30 weeks with twins! My doctor said that the concern is only me and the babies are both doing alright but I’m now classified as severe preeclampsia. I’m staying until I deliver which could be 2 days from now or 2 weeks from now. However long they can prolong it. This is my first pregnancy and I’m definitely terrified of how it will go and I’m scared of the pain and anxiety, plus not knowing when things will happen since it feels they’ve emphasized that things can happen quickly and things can change in a second for my situation to be rushed. Any advice on how to handle this? I believe that one baby (baby A) is head down, the other is breech at the moment, so I’m hoping for a vag birth but I obviously that a c section might be needed. I was going to start labor prepping this week but since I’m admitted I had no time to prep physically or mentally and it’s bothering Me lol. I feel like my body already somewhat failed by being in this position right now so Just looking for advice or words of encouragement

August moms at 22 weeks? Do you guys feel the same?

I was pretty chill in the 1st trimester and beginning of 2nd trimester thinking everything will go well. Now while I almost complete 23rd week, my baby started moving and kicking very often which I take as a very good sign. But I’m too anxious of what will happen in the coming weeks. Despite of good signs, I’m still not confident and I live in the fear of “is my baby okay”. I don’t understand why I’m anxious despite of everything being okay, but I just can’t think positively.
