Is the choice to be "One and Done" more accepted now?

I wanted to be 1 and done and couldn’t get my tubes tied. Finally after 3 my tubes are gone.

I’ve chosen it and while I would say I see more and more families choosing it, the constant questions around having more and the little comments like ‘children need a sibling’ and ‘only children are spoilt’ are definitely still rife! When people see me with my daughter they always ask ‘is she your first’ and I reply ‘yep, my one and only!’ And I always then get a pitying look or a comment like ‘that’s a shame’ when it really isn’t.
