I take tums before bed

Pepcid is completely fine to take! It works better when taken everyday- I started taking it at 32 weeks and I take it everyday and it's helped so much.

I’m sorry, it sucks! I have to keep cool water and tums on my bedside table.
I can quite literally tell what time it is in the morning by if I have acid reflux. Always been 4-6am.

Maybe take some preemptively? And reup in the moment?

20mg of Pepcid in the morning and at night!

In my case Pepcid didn’t work at all until the doctor gave me 20mg omeprazol before a meal (just 2 per day)

In my experience, Tums made me super constipated- not the regular pregnancy constipation either lol. Since taking Pepcid, I haven't needed tums. Also my friend took Prilosec- but I'd speak to your OB and maybe start with Pepcid daily! I only need once a day 20 mg not twice but everyone's different

pepcid and omeprozole are the best options for severe cases not “oh i sometimes get it here and there” be aware its not an immediate relief like tums or liquid calcium it will take a few days to a week to notice a big shift but id 1000% recommend!

Omeprozole cured mine within 2 days! You can get it OTC.

My OB prescribed me Pantoprazole. I take 40mg before bed and if it doesn’t work I usually take another.

I take tums at night before bed preemptively. It’s hit or miss though. Sometimes it helps, others I’m fresh out of luck. Going on 33 weeks with me first so I gotchu girl 😭 we’ll get through this
