Sweaty feet help

My daughter has really sweaty feet, especially on hot days, her socks end up completely wet 😩 I’ve also noticed her nails starting to discolour a bit, which is worrying me.

I got her breathable shoes and cotton socks, but I’ve recently read that cotton isn’t actually the best for this kind of issue. My sister has the same problem (so I guess it might be hereditary), and she recommended bamboo socks as they’re better for sweat.

The problem is I can’t seem to find bamboo socks in her size (UK toddler 4–5).

Has anyone had the same issue and can recommend where to buy them?

Thank you šŸ™

Babies dont always have to wear socks. It actually helps them to not wear them. Because they have alot of nerve endings in their feet that help with development. My little boy runs hot and alot of the time i just take them off. But of course its up to you on what you want to do. When he starts walking I am going to get him these though. https://www.tinyexplorings.com/products/tiny-explorings%E2%84%A2-copy-in-cart?variant=50261148762376&country=US¤cy=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&glid=CjwKCAjwhe3OBhABEiwA6392zDRk8RW2qCMOWU4zXKOWQ2fJ8Cg2NSoDOa7e--DUD0UfvEKLy9J1aRoCLGMQAvD_BwE&tw_source=google&tw_adid=753790245253&tw_campaign=22588187180&tw_kwdid=pla-1959558271654&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22588187180&gbraid=0AAAAApa7AeWmmwIBZhA3A68IeCP4R20rt&gclid=CjwKCAjwhe3OBhABEiwA6392zDRk8RW2qCMOWU4zXKOWQ2fJ8Cg2NSoDOa7e--DUD0UfvEKLy9J1aRoCLGMQAvD_BwE

Sleep during the day.

My nearly 4 week baby girl loves her sleep at night and will easily settle back down after her feeds however, during the day I struggle to get her to sleep or when she does she will sleep in my arms, if I try to transfer her to her cot she wakes straight away. Any suggestions on how I can help her or what I’m doing wrong?

18 months

How many words is good for 18 months? My child says 22 words that I’ve counted and I feel proud but is this just average lol

Wake windows a myth for some?

My baby seems to laugh in the face of wake windows. We wake around 6-7am, he might fall asleep after his breakfast feed for a little bit but his only other long nap is our lunchtime walk in the carrier. Otherwise he is awake for hours on end but seemingly quite happy.

If anyone has a newborn who also doesn’t conform to the whole 60m rule, don’t worry, your baby isn’t broken and you’re not doing anything wrong, just go with their flow!

Did anyone else’s epidural not work?

Writing retrospectively here. I had a epidural with my 1st baby in 2025 and it pretty much had no effect, I was in absolute agony the whole time (hours). Anyone else experience this?

Midwife now says this isn’t normal and I shouldn’t have been in pain.
Due my 2nd in 6 weeks and debating weather I should go for one again. 😣

Bassinet for newborn

Hi all! So we have a stroller (maxi cosĆ) but it doesn’t have the bassinet with it.. I’m wondering if it’s essential for when baby is tiny and wants to sleep.. does my normal seat being in recline mode enough for this? Thanks!
