Rapid cool

Can you use the rapid cool with the hot shot method?
New to all this… can you put a hot shot into the baby bottle, add the formula and then use the rapid cool with the remaining water? Or will it still make the bottle too hot as it’s got the hot shot in?

I use the rapid cool using the hot shot method, always worked well for me. Just add enough hot water to cover the formula, the rest in the rapid cool x

We use the rapid cool and hot shot.
Just check temp as you normally would before giving the bottle over.
I'd actually go as far as saying our little one actually prefers bottles this way as they're slightly warmer than from the milk prep machine

The NHS do not recommend the hotshot method but I think most people use it.

I do it this way. I measure all the water I need into the bottle then pour all but about an oz into the rapid cool and put the formula into the remaining boiling water. Works great

We use the hot shot method and it’s a lot easier with cleaning the rapid cool etc xx

Hi! I can’t stand the weird smell of any of the blue non bio washing stuff. Is there anything else that can be used for washing newborn? Something that smells a bit better 😬

Dream feeding

Hi
I need to stop dream feeding my baby at night when he wakes up. How do you do this or transition? He is mainly breastfed but I’ve started to give a bottle on the night on the last feed before he sleeps

Anyone else?

Anyone else a c section, co sleeping, breastfeeding mama and your body is just in bits? I don’t know if my bed is just uncomfortable postpartum or if it’s my body and cosleeping/breastfeeding positions. I feel like stretching helps a little but my hips and lower back especially are awful, but generally I just feel so achy and uncomfortable most of the time. Is it just me?

Anyone have a car seat where your toddlers head doesn’t fall forward when they fall asleep??

LO is 8 months old and she isn’t crawling yet is it something to be worried about ??

What wakes your baby up?

I'm curious...when your baby wakes overnight, what is it waking them up? Is it hunger or something else? My little boy (breastfed) only wakes for two nights feeds (which is great!) but wakes himself up after wriggling/flapping about in his sleep every 1.5/2 hours too 😬
