Reflux in baby’s
Hello all, I have just come home from the hospital (day 11) we had to go I. For jaundice and whilst we were there our baby stopped breathing. She was admitted where it happens a further 6 times they soon linked it to feeding and that it was Reflux. We are now back home where she has to have omeprazol each day till she grows out of it. Has anyone else got a baby that has done this? How did you cope?

Hi yes we got admitted at 4 days old - had to call an ambulance due to apneas which started to worsen but then got better and were just breathing pauses. Drs not sure why it happened but baby now has reflux. She was 37+6 so early term. They checked for infections, did loads of tests. We spent 4 days in the children’s hospital, it was horrific. They think her breathing might have been immature and she’s grown out of it now that she is almost 2 weeks old.
