Baby shower fail
I invited my family and friends absolutely no one showed up my baby got nothing and I wasted my time setting up the party and waste money on food.this is my second baby I was told after your first you don’t get a another shower I’m hurt. And everyone expects me to let them be apart of my kids lives…. Any way I just want genuine people in my life. I literally only have my husband and my babies no one else . I just wanna be happy and share moments with friends or go on friend dates and express how much men annoy me lol.

Yea I feel that. Definitely significantly less people came to my baby shower this time compared to the first. I’m just glad I didn’t pay for it but mad because I could have just received that money instead to buy baby stuff
Same here. This is my second and last baby after having my first almost 4 years ago. Honestly I at least just wanted people there to celebrate with me like they at least care and are excited. Especially with all the effort I put into it. It would be one thing if I told them last minute but I made sure to give them months notice like they knew plenty of time in advance and still they couldn’t be bothered to let me know if they would even show up or not. It makes me evaluate more closely who I want around.
That’s so hurtful! I have a group of friends since high school and we’ve grown apart somewhat. So, I understand to a point. I work retail and therefore work every holiday and most weekends. They all have both of those off. So, getting together w them is never easy. I invited them all to my baby shower and none of them RSVP’d. It was pretty heartbreaking. I had to postpone my shower as my baby was born early. I don’t even want to invite them this time.
When are you due?
I am so sorry that happened to you. That's really sad and messed up of them.
