New single mums / mums struggling/ single mums

looking for friends :)

hi gals, i’ve been a single mum for about a year now and i have very few friends but they all have partners and i keep finding myself the odd one out🥲 i’m wondering how does everyone deal with explaining to their child why their friends have dads but they don’t ? she hasn’t seen her “dad” in over a year and he’s currently got open police cases against him from myself and other victims so it will never be an option to have contact but i always feel terrible for her when she’s watching her friends and their dads :(
