I would recommend you pump and store milk before smoking. Then wait atleast 2 hours before breastfeeding directly. From the study I’ve read, only about .03% of thc makes it into breastmilk.

I smoked while breastfeeding and literally started the day I got home from the hospital. Idk what these vanilla ass moms in this 420 mom group talking about. Your baby will be fine. I also EBF too.

So it's not healthy at all for the brain development and a body for the baby because it's not like you can pump and dump marijuana stays longer inside your body than alcohol so you're taking a risk on babies health by breast-feeding and smoking marijuana because it's not very easy to detox from it like alcohol. I used to smoke a lot every hour before I got pregnant and then I stopped as soon as I found out that I got pregnant and I am two months after Delivery and I still am not willing to take a chance because I'm breast-feeding and I don't wanna take a secondhand smoke for my baby and I don't want my babies development in anyway through my bloodstream to connect and something happen that I can't control because I made a bad choice. So I have to be strong enough and not smoke cause I wanna do what's best for my baby because I'm breast-feeding and I don't want the secondhand smoke to get onto babies clothes or in the room through my skin or my bloodstream effect.

Unfortunately it stays in your bloodstream for 1-2 days and if it’s in your blood it can effect your milk so if you can I’d recommend building a supply and then just pump to maintain supply for a day if you’re only having a little amount you could always use expressed milk for baths , soaps ect so it isn’t wasted . That’s if you’re worried about it effecting baby 🥰
