How are we doing this ladies? I feel like it’s a stupid question but how do you navigate night feeds with breast milk but bottle feeding? I’m planning to introduce bottle straight away as my first would not take one as we waited so long. And while my partner is off for 2 weeks he’ll be doing night feeds. But how do you store the milk without having to go down to the fridge in the middle of the night? We live in a 3 storey house and that will not be fun at night to prep a bottle. Any tips please?

Just be aware if dad is giving bottles at night you need to be pumping for each feed otherwise you will affect your milk supply.
Is a mini fridge in your bedroom/ on the floor your room is an option? Could help keep milk cold and avoid going up and down x

I did pump once during night time and giving same bottle to baby for next feed for the night (within 6 hours window ) , I gave her while she was sleeping. While doing this I was not offering breast.
I did for initial 2-3 days when 4-5 days pp, I am not doing this anymore as I find pumping a task and then clean /sterilise bottles and pump too.

Milk can stay at room temp for 6hrs
