MMRV
Thoughts on the new MMRV vaccination? My boy is going to be due these within the next month, and I’ve seen multiple videos and posts about peoples babies having very bad reactions in response to this new vaccine. I’m absolutely not anti vax at all, but this has put a little fear in me, especially with how new it actually is.

The nurses explained to me yesterday how widely it is used in Australia, US, Canada etc. and how it’s been available privately for years. It put more confidence in me. My little boy had it yesterday and so far is fine and is happily at nursery but they did say there can be reactions to it a few weeks after having it.
As the above poster has said, it isn't a new vaccine, it's just newly available on the NHS. It's been available privately and in other countries for a long time. I understand how you feel, I am always wary of my baby having the vaccines in case he is unwell, but I know it's the right thing to do for my family and my son. Go with your gut x
