Still burping 5 month +

Are you still burping your 5/5.5/6 month old after every feed??

We often end up in the cycle of feeding before nap and bedtime and it’s become impossible to burp without waking them up and causing a meltdown 🫠🫠

He does seem to be pretty good at burping on his own now and we try make sure he has a fair amount of up right play and cuddles when he’s awake.

FTM mummy here 🫶🏽

During the night I just pace a bit as baby falls asleep on boob/dream feeds. He literally doesn't burp when asleep. So i just make sure he's upright long enough that it avoids any spit up when he's back in his cot. He tends to just pump it out instead. Daytime i tend to because I can tell he needs it. But he's getting better at letting them out. It's mainly to avoid spit up/coughing. I did wonder if it's needed at night especially from 5 months on xx

Baby’s Cow Lick

My baby boy (5 months) has a CRAZY cowlick it’s on the front of his head, he’s had it of course since birth but now that his hair is growing in it has become very noticeable & difficult to tame. I am considering shaving his during the summer so hopefully help the outcome. Has anyone dealt with harsh cowlicks? What did you do?

Separation anxiety from nursery 😅

My little one has had her settle in sessions this week and she has turned into a nightmare since, She cries every time I put her down or walk out the room, even in the night she used to sleep in her cot absolutely fine and if she woke she would just roll over and go back to sleep but now she wakes in screaming because she can’t see us 🥲
She was such a confident and happy little girl but now she’s just screaming all the time, I feel like she’s changed over night after a couple sessions
I’m wondering if it’s because she’s been left at nursery she’s now worried we going to leave her? Anyone else experience this, Will she go back to her normal happy self?

4am wake ups

So my mum had my kid overnight a couple weeks ago and for some reason decided that when he woke up at 4.15 that was when they’d start their day. She knew damn well he doesn’t get up at that time we lived with the woman, she was just trynna be annoying because we were moving out. Anyways ever since then he’s carried on the ridiculous time wake ups, doesn’t matter how shit of a nights sleep he has he’s up, and I am DONE! I’ve tried desperately every single day to rock him back to sleep, I’ve tried ignoring him if he’s okay but then he’s wide awake and definately not going back to sleep. Trying to rock him ends in me covered in bruises and he hurts himself too (he does this all day every day but he’s under ever specialist possible so there’s no one new I can speak to). I rock him to sleep at bedtime and nap time every day fine. I’ve tried keeping him awake until his usual nap time but kid is passing out on the floor at 11am, I can’t let him have a longer nap cuz he won’t sleep at all then, and I can’t push back bedtime and just have a longer evening cuz it’s just a screaming match again with the hurting us both. I need him to go back to sleep, I’m not going to sleep train him. Before this he was up at half 7 maybe 8. What actually works to get a kid back to sleep cuz I’m lost.
17 months, 35 weeker,
TIA

Nappy changes at nighttime

My boy is 8 weeks old. Does everyone change when they wake for feeds? He has a bottle around 9pm and a nappy change. then wakes up 2/3 times during the night. He usually takes a bottle then falls back to sleep quickly. If he hasn't done a poo am I doing the right thing by leaving till morning? Please help a struggling mum out 😢👏🏼

Putting themselves to sleep

Ok I know this might seem daft but has anybody else's baby started going to sleep themselves

I put Freya down to make her a bottle today and I came back and she was fast asleep

Apparently according to her dad she does this during the night

AND she slept 9:30pm until 5:50am today all the way through I'm grateful but just wondering if it's normal

Clinginess

I have a 9 week old and when he was first born the minute I put him down he’d cry it got to point where I was barely getting an hour sleep every night cause he wouldn’t even settle on my partner, he’s now 9 weeks and exactly the same once my partner went back to work it left me with the only option of co sleeping with him otherwise it’d be more dangerous me being so tired around him I feel as tho it’s only made it worst he can’t stand being put down it leaves me in a situation where I can’t do anything for myself cause he’s in my arms constantly I try with morning feed like once he’s don’t feeding I wait 20 mins then they transfer him I’ve tried every method swaddling, feet them bum then head then hand gently on chest we do car rides but he wakes up as soon as car stops pram walks he’s familiar with feeling of the stones under pram on our drive so wakes up I’ve tried carrier but once put down wakes up again, I love him to pieces but it gets overwhelming especially with the dog as the dog follows me around and wants attention to not to mention the house is a mess and my partner tried his best but he work long hours it’s driving me insane especially the crying it’s not like a slight cry it’s like cry until can’t catch breath kind of cry until I pick him up again
