Partner plays rough with baby

Hey, does anyone else’s BD play rough with the baby? My bd loves it but there’s this one move that he does which I have told him twice now not to do because it seems reckless and dangerous for the spine and neck. He basically holds our 11 month old son facing him and lowers him down and then flings him upwards really fast so his head does a sort of flicking motion. Has anyone else’s partner done this? Idk if my baby’s going to have some sort of spinal issue because of this, or if I’m being overly protective. Thanks ☺️
