I had testing in September and it was throughout my cycle from day 3 of my period. They test all your hormones to make sure that things are rising and falling as expected throughout. I also got tested for blood clotting factors, sometimes they do thyroid panels, iron, vitamin D. I also asked for my fasting insulin to get tested as insulin resistance can lead to PCOS and I wanted to check for that.
With the blood work, I also had many ultrasounds to make sure the lining was developing properly and a sonohysterogram to check for malformations or tubal blockages.
It's a lot of tests for one cycle, I can't remember exactly how many blood tests though.

Mine was about 5 weeks after my second miscarriage. But I also went for blood work after my first miscarriage to confirm low hcg and that no tissue was retained.
They could just be checking to make sure the hcg levels have gone down. Did they say if it was to figure out why you're having reoccurring miscarriages?
