How much milk will baby need
My little one is currently 5 weeks I have to leave him for a few hours in June (dreading it) he is currently exclusively breastfed so will have to try and introduce a bottle. But I was wondering how much milk I’ll have to try and collect. It will be a day before he turns 4 months. Also the evening time so hoping he just sleeps through but just in case !

To my knowledge with formula it’s 2 1/2 ounce per 1lb of body weight they say. Not sure if bf is same x
They say BF babies don’t need more than 5oz at a time. I would probably aim for 20oz just so you have extra if needed depending on how many hours you are out. You can always introduce bottle, see how much he takes, how long until he’s hungry again and then try to calculate it that way.
Im exclusively pumping and mine takes 3-4oz every 1.5-3 hours currently x
