Do you think it's fine to attend? This is the description of the group:
a morning of play, craft, singing and a Bible story. It's run by members of the church.
Thank you

I go to two church groups like this and there is no talk of religion whatsoever. I don't think they care if you are religious or not. I would go at least once and see if you like it, if you don't want to hear the bible story for example you can leave before that.

I believe so, the members of the church/volunteers run it. But it's really not churchy at all, I am not religious myself x

I’m not religious and have attended several at churches - one of them was definitely more churchy than the others, they would actively tell you about their events and services, and encourage you to come along (I always declined politely). But none of them did bible stories, I think that would have been a no from me. But as above, leaving before the story is always an option, I never stay the full length of any group because I walk everywhere and need to allow time to get home for lunch/nap.
Another one I go to just happens to be a group using a room in a church, the pastor pops in to say hello every morning but he’s never once come across as preachy, he’s lovely!
Don’t write them off before trying :)

I go to a toddler group run by church members and I’m not religious, it’s a warm and inviting space and they don’t push the religion on to you. They do hold Easter service and Christmas service in the church and I attend but they make it fun for the kids and they enjoy it. That’s my experience and I enjoy going and so do my kids.
Just go and if you don’t like it then you can say you gave it a shot and you can find somewhere else that more suits you ☺️

Yes absolutely! They are always really inclusive places ☺️

Church toddler groups are the best! It’s where I made a lot of my mum friends and none of us are religious lol
I used to regularly go to 3 and out of those, only 1 read a kids book all of a few mins related to a special occasion eg Easter, Christmas. Most of the time if they had any events on they’d tell you about them, but no pressure whatsoever was made to attend.
The pastor and his wife used to attend the groups and were genuinely lovely people.
Give it a go, it may be one of the best decisions you make 😬
