I’m a lot more scared this time round. Overall my first was smooth but I was naive to think it’s always smooth

Not frightened, more worried about the unknown as I was induced with my first, so have no clue whats going to happen naturally or not.

If your feeling fearful about it, might be worth having a chat with your midwife about it. And seeing what she says.

I think it’s because we are aware what we have to do 😂 if that makes sense, I’m trying to put it out of sight and mind for now

Gender

Hi , I was wondering at what scan you find out the gender?
And at what point you told people you were pregnant? I’ve told a few close friend and family, but feeling a bit nervous to spread the news a bit further :)

C section tummy

Hey ladies. I’m 4 months post partum and I just wondered what was considered normal at this stage? I definitely still have some fat to lose but I wondered if my tummy will just continue to stick out from now on?! 😂

5 weeks 5 days

Hi so I have had 4 miscarriages and I keep testing every 2/3 days... I know I should stop but I am assuming this is what a dye stealer looks like or close to? I am so nervous and cautious

PGP & vaginal birth

I have had really bad pelvic girdle pain and sacroiliac joint dysfunction since I've been 4 months pregnant. I am now on constant painkillers and can only walk with crutches. Does anyone have experience with something like this and had a vaginal birth? I did not experience anything like this with my first baby, and now I am so worried about not being able to move as I need to during birth. So I am considering an elective csection, even though the consultant did not recommend it, given I already had a vaginal birth before. Any experience sharing would be v much appreciated 🙏 (and don't hesitate to message me privately). Thanks!

Cervical cerclage

Hi all … I’m looking for some advice for if anyone else has experienced this. My previous birth was premature and therefore this pregnancy I’ve had scans every 2 weeks to watch my cervix measurements to make sure it’s all good. Today’s scan revealed it is shortening and therefore they need to intervene. My two options for treatment are a progesterone pessary (insert it every night until 34 weeks) or a cervical cerclage (see my cervix shut). The success rate of the pessary is 40%. The success rate of the cerclage is 90% but comes with risks as it is a surgery. The doctors said I sit in a grey area and it’s not clear which treatment I should have. The problem is I can’t try the pessary and then if it doesn’t work choose the cerclage because they won’t do it after 24 weeks pregnant. I will be 24 weeks on Tuesday so I don’t have any time to make the choice. Can anyone give advice? Thanks in advance, a stressed out mama
