One week, but I’d say be very careful I’ve definitely overdone it. Things might feel good or be ready but I should of aimed to walk around and do things a lot slower

Definitely around two weeks for me. But I did take things slow and stayed in my bed most of the time x

Probably a week but I did a lot of downtime and resting

When my baby was 6 days old we walked to the nearby morrisons as our first "adventure" out to get him some tiny clothes because he was way too small for all we had.
I could feel my body was tender and I was knackered of course, but it felt good to have done the walk afterwards.
I do think I should have done a shorter walk just up and down the street first

I was out and about every day walking from the day I was discharged. I actually came home on public transport after my first. That first week I was going for lunch, walking around the shops and meeting family. Second week I went into the city on my own with the pram on the tube to vote and had no issues doing a few miles. Just take breaks and stop if you can’t keep going.

1 week and I could walk pretty comfortably, 3-4 weeks until I could walk normally, 7-8 months until I could run again without pain in my scar. X

With my first baby 2 weeks, with my second baby 3-4 days the recovery was much easier on me the second time

Avatar

Completely normal about a week for my second, 3/4 weeks for my first x
