Reflux! Help 🥺

Is she bottle fed or breast? If bottle her teat may be too fast? Are you feeding her upright?
Try not to worry, It’s so so common mumma x

She’s bottle fed, we used the mam teats size 0 for a few weeks but she starting getting frustrated during feeds so I sized her up to size 1, she’s no longer frustrated but now she’s spitting up a lot 🥺 x

Are you pace feeding with the teat half full? That helps. So feed her sat upright and make sure the teat is half full so she is able to work to suck some back. You may already know this, sorry if you do. It’s so hard not to worry, but try not to as some babies are just more prone to reflux x

Try anti reflux milk. My son has reflux and we’ve tried gaviscon and omeprazole which didn’t work. Pace feeding and burping half way through didn’t work. Only the anti reflux worked for us x

I spoke to our health visitor about this today!
She spoke about paced feeding (as someone mentioned above), keeping baby upright and lots of breaks during feeding.
She also suggested infacol before feeding or gripe water after they are 4 weeks old x
