what do you think?

My partner and I had a baby five months ago almost 6. He used to be a really affectionate sex obsessed guy now he’s distant and I’m the one who asks for it and doesn’t get it. working on a relationship and argue a lot, but I noticed when I stop bringing up the things that bother me like this, we slowly start to make progress. he says Things have to happen naturally. For example, he bought everything for our garden yesterday, made a lot of effort like getting ice cream pizza posting me on Instagram, etc. He bought me donuts this morning. But hardly touch me like kissing smack not sex cuddling nothing. it hurts because I’m like why he could buy me nothing and be affectionate I would be so happy. He said he loves me, but he can’t force it because we’re arguing. (THIS IS the reason we’re arguing snd its really just me getting emotional and him blowing up) It’s been since birth. like I thought he’d be all over me wanting me once I can have sex again and he didn’t even try for weeks once I was cleared . It genuinely hurts so much. like I’m literally begging and he’s walking away. I know that’s needy and annoying but at this point I have my needs too and that’s how I feel loved. No matter what I say, he pulls away. And I get frustrated because I am a pretty girl and my body is pretty nice, I’m insecure about it becauseof him, not wanting me though. I said me when I’m out and I get so angry because I’m like he won’t even touch me when i get home. or i can feel his energy pulling away even when i hug him. i feel like hes not into me anymore maybe stopped loving me, but then i see all his efforts in all the other ways. and he’s telling me to let it happen naturally stop arguing and forcing, but its been almost 6 months (yes we argue often) . I wore my first sexyish dress since giving birth and nothing. im hurting and frustrated

I am in the same situation but I am in your partners shoes. I have been struggling with intimacy since my son was born. My husband and I are in couples counseling weekly working on this… I recommend trying that if you are both open to it.

Having a new baby can be draining and it can take a huge toll on your desire.
