I miscarried at 6 weeks, had a DNC at the end of November. I ended up having retained tissue and needed the pill nearly 2 weeks later. My first period came in January right at the same time it would every month and lasted 7 days. My next period was 43 days later and lasted 7 days! This is supposed to be my third period and I'm already 48 days since the last one. My periods used to come every month on the same day. I had a partial molar pregnancy :( I want to try again and I'm so frustrated and mad and sad that I won't even get proper periods.

After my first miscarriage and during/ after my husband’s cancer treatment my cycles became irregular, and started getting longer and longer like this. I eventually had a cycle where I didn’t ovulate till cycle day 80. I was losing my mind trying to figure out how to fix it. I ended up getting diagnosed with pcos but even then my cycles became irregular had never been irregular before. Eventually when it started to normalize on its own i realized in hindsight sight it was stress throwing it off. I’m now focusing on letting go and sleeping more and I’m ovulating earlier than ever. No idea if that’s also your problem but it’s something I never read about or considered at the time. In the meantime learn to track ovulation. You can definitely still get pregnant when your cycle is irregular if you can figure out how to time sex right. Although in my case it was another miscarriage I did get pregnant even from ovulating on cycle day 80

In my case at least when my period is delayed my body attempts to ovulate (sometimes several times) before it actually manages it so I start lh testing and prioritizing sex when I see the first cervical mucous, but sometimes the test lines get darker and then lighter again before reaching peak (I log them in the Premom app to get number values to make them easier to compare) in that case I don’t stress because at this point I know my body will try again soon so I just keep watching and tracking and having sex when there’s raw egg white like cervical mucous or when my tests are getting pretty dark (maybe above 0.6) once it’s getting darker like that I also start testing twice per day to catch peak. Technically only a test at least 1.0 or higher is possitive but you may not catch it so 0.9 or higher is good. I’ve gotten pregnant off a cycle where I only got 0.8 but I’m pretty sure I just missed the higher value.
