Anxious

Hoping someone has been through something similar or can just ease my anxiety around my second C section. I'm due my second child in July and will be having another elective C section, my first pregnancy was absolutely perfect and I loved my section but this pregnancy has been the complete opposite and I've got low iron and blood pressure which has made me feel really anxious about having another C section. I know it'll likely all be ok but I'm just so so anxious this time round 😭

Similar experience for me! First pregnancy was amazing, emergency section and a big blood loss but everything was fine. Second baby(third pregnancy) I could barely function, low iron and bp like yourself and I developed a heart murmur too. Ended up having another emergency section and a premature baby due to waters going early and developing an infection, they were worried baby had sepsis. Despite all the worries and baby needing oxygen for a little bit, the section was amazing. Knowing what to expect helped but I found I was up and about sooner, I honestly couldn’t fault it having a second section! My scar has healed so beautifully, and honestly if my body could handle another pregnancy I’d love another section 😅 Nerves are normal but you’re going to know when you’re having your baby and what to expect! My levels went back to normal afterwards too and I could actually stand up without almost passing out xxx

I had terrible bleeding with my first virginal birth and was worried about my c section for my second. They manage everything like this. The anesthesiologist will be right now managing all those things and making sure you're ok, anything feels weird you tell him and he'll/she'll get right on it.

Mine went fine, and I'm so thankful. Good luck with your birth and recovery xx

Currently postpartum & curious 🤍

Being away from family and with my husband traveling for work, it’s been just me and baby a lot… especially overnight.

How supported did you really feel during those first few weeks?

I keep thinking I would’ve loved a few hours of help just to rest or get things done… honestly I might’ve even paid for that 😅

Did y’all ever feel like that?

Is it worth getting a pregnancy ball?

I like the idea of using it but also just think it will be staying in the middle of my living room being not pretty and slightly annoying 😅

Baby no.2 coming earlier?

So this is baby no.2, first baby didn’t ‘drop’ until near due date but this baby dropped about 3 weeks ago. I have had a lot of pressure and generally just feeling like I could go at any point! I’ve had some on/off very mild cramping through the day and the last couple of days I’ve also had loose stools and now I’m panicking! Will I go early? I don’t even have my bag packed and all baby stuff is at my mums 4hrs away!!!!

Hormone dip at six months ?

So my baby is 6 months old on the 1st May but I swear my hormones must be dipping or whatever they’re doing because the last few days I’ve felt so anxious and very mood swings etc the way I was when baby was originally born! Like I just very emotional anxious it’s exhausting x
