My brother is happily married, recent, but someone from his past who has been obsessed with him for a DECADE is still finding ways to get to him and now us his siblings. She attempted to follow us on IG with a profile with a bio claiming he’s hers and should be and he owes her apology and explanation as to why he didn’t choose her. There’s also an image posted of him without his face with a paragraph caption with similar info. We blocked and reported the account but she is now attempting to follow other people we know. There is a random post on the story with a deluded caption but the image is the table setting from one of our siblings wedding- we don’t know who posted it or shared it with who- it was a no photography of the bride and groom wedding. But sibling and spouse recognise the table setting and centrepieces etc. We don’t know if someone from the family is entertaining this person or they’re just on complete stalker mode and trying to squeeze out any detail regarding our lives to try and get a reaction. we just ignored it at first because it’s stupid and desperate but now it’s getting annoying and feels like harassment because she’s got all our names posted on the account, how insane is this??! Is there anything we can do to shut this shit down? We don’t know her details or where she lives, we’re a pretty traditional family in the sense that we don’t share or expose our dating life etc before marriage. We haven’t addressed our brother because he’s in his new wedded bubble and they are super happy and doing well enjoying their new home and life. Any advice?? We are in the UK i don’t know if reporting it is worth it? We’re in two minds about speaking to our brother, he’ll likely tell us to leave it but we are so protective of one another and don’t want him bothered by it or dealing with the stress of it or to upset his wife!
