For next cycle you can avoid this dilemma by ordering a box of strip tests online. I like the easy@home brand which are comparable to frer but you can get at least 20 for the price of one frer. Also order a box of ovulation (lh) test strips. Once you know when you ovulate you’ll know how long your luteal phase is and you’ll know what day it’s reasonable to test. Personally I like to test the day before my period to know whether or not to expect it. For me that means testing at 9dpo for some that might be 14dpo or even later but I’d expect most people to get at least a faint positive by 14dpo

I'd go for taking test now. You are too close to your period date to not have a positive result even with a pm urine. Just wait as long as you can from drinking to peeing

I do want to let you know every brand of tests will have faulty ones! “False positives” indents, evap lines, every brand of test produces those! Some more than others but there’s no perfect pregnancy test brands!
