episiotomy question, anyone who’s had one please?

Ladies who have had a episiotomy how long till you have sex after birth I’m guessing safest option is defo 6 weeks like the usual ? And when did you first shave? Cos it’s killing me not doing both 🤣🤣😭but I don’t want to risk anything so prob best to wait right?

I’d definitely recommend waiting the 6 weeks, we tried at 5 and it was too painful. I was also petrified of shaving for such a long time! I was just extra cautious and careful and didn’t do a full shave for a long time x

Anxiety

Im on my second pregnancy and I feel really anxious that something bad is going to happen. I never had this with my first. I haven't yet had my 12 week scan and can't get it out of my head that something is wrong. Ive got no reason to think this, but im just really worrying. Anyone else feeling like this?

Is anyone else struggling with start of 2nd trimester anxiety?

It's like it came on out the blue and I juat cannot calm it. I feel so unprepared and worried, and just cannot switch my brain off.

My partner isn't the most supportive, but I do have a great network in a couple of friends and my mum.

It's hard having gone from really enjoying being pregnant and looking forward to everything, to what all of a sudden feels like fear and worry.

Any coping mechanism recommendations are more than welcome 🙏
